When I was in high school I used to get depressed about stuff. Then one day my old man took me aside and he said to me, “Look kid, things suck now, yes. But you’re smart and you’re a guy so you get better looking and richer every year. All these chicks who won’t give you the time of day? One day you’ll be fucking their daughters.” Then he punched me in the arm and made me chug a beer. You know what? It made all the difference.
