As many of my longtime readers will doubtless know I am a Big Brother fanatic! If you look way back in the OP archives you’ll see that I did a great deal of live blogging during Big Brother 7 and I shall continue the tradition with Big Brother 8.

BB7 was an All Star edition, so BB8 is likely to be back to the old format. One cool thing about the CBS website is that they actually kept all the historical Big Brother websites live so you can browse them.

I think the reason I’ve been a Big Brother fan for so long is that in the early days it really was the only show with a decent web presence. So when I first got started online back in the day when the feeds were still cams and were free I used to stay up all night working and watching BB. Even now the Housecalls show is actually pretty fucking watchable.

I remember last year re-arranging my schedule so a conference call I had during Housecalls was shifted by an hour, heh.
