Damn I wish we had over the air signal here or I would check it out. I have an HD Cable receiver and have been very impressed so far, don't seem to get the same compression that they do on satelite.

One thing I have noticed with cable or satellite HD is that they seem to jack up the sharpness.

The over air signal is detailed, but also very pleasing to the eye, non fatiguing.

If you cruise on over to:

http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/welcome.aspx

there's a thing where you input your address and it tells you what you can get and how much antenna you need to get it.
