HighTowerox, don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining about the loss… it was a year of disasters and foundational shifts. I just try to clear things up when people think I’m rolling in the dough with little effort, just because it’s adult related. It’s really not something I see as a business.

I get you now, Steph. When it’s more about the art and enjoyment then the money doesn’t matter. I assume many people see your nice looking site and think to themselves that you must be well off. If they are oblivious to what goes on behind the scenes then they’d surely never know any better. Anyhow, keep up the work and best of luck to you.

It’s like any other business, especially e-business.. I’ve been making an effort on the side of my day job to get a porn site of my own up. It takes some serious legal and financial work to do it properly, making sure your infrastructure is able to scale to the explosive demands of the internet has by far been my biggest challenge. I’m really not too sure if I’ll ever have the site up at this rate.
